Sunday the 26thAugust at Hazeley Fields in Twyford saw the fourth year of the Graze Festival. Run entirely by volunteers to raise money for local charities, the festival is a notable date in the summer calendar for the Hampshire community. The event is a celebration of great food, excellent music and wonderful family entertainment.
“As a non-profit organisation, we rely solely on the time and dedication of volunteers – the additional support from 21Six was a huge help and allowed the Graze team to focus on event organisation. Thank you!”
We were invited by Graze to support them with the event by providing our creative flair, digital expertise and marketing intelligence.
How 21six helped Graze Festival
The 21six team were hugely passionate to work on this job – an event that supports home-grown talent, whilst raising important funds for local children’s Cancer Charity, The Joe Glover Trust. Learn more about the charity here.
Our Design Team had an enjoyable time creating the promotional artwork with vibrant colours and engaging graphics to characterise the lively festival spirit. Banners designed by 21six were printed by local sponsor Mint Signs and appeared throughout the local area to promote the event.
Driving Ticket Sales
Without the support of the local community this event could not have happened, so raising awareness and generating ticket sales was a crucial element to the festival’s success. We’re pleased to announce that we increased traffic to the Graze.com website by 30% vs the previous year, which positively impacted on overall ticket sales.
How, I hear you ask? For the 10 weeks leading up to the festival we ran a strategic social campaign across Facebook and Instagram, targeting specific audiences with curated content that communicated with audiences at the various stages of their purchasing journey. View some of our results below…
Delivering Music to Our Ears!
At the event
Our work didn’t stop there! For the first year, Graze introduced big screens to provide event information such as main act introductions and amusing and informative facts about the festival and how it came to be. Our creative team did a sterling job of producing big screen animations that did just that.
We delivered further event collateral on the day from site maps to schedules, ensuring the best experience was had by all attendees from way finding, to event timings so not to miss a thing!
A big thank you must also go to the other sponsors involved in the Graze Festival. We organised a networking event prior to the festival to give everyone the opportunity to meet over a glass of wine. We hosted this at the Ideal Collection’s No.5 restaurant in Winchester and enjoyed meeting and chatting to Hampshire’s local businesses. We were joined by the main sponsors Paris Smith, Mint Signs, Snows Group, Hamptons, Hotel Du Vin, David Lloyd, Eco Kitchens and Humphrey Farms to name but a few. Watch this short clip to see footage from the evening and hear from our Group Director, Adam Shanley and the Founder of Graze Festival, Roger Walker.
We look forward to hearing about Graze Festival 2019. In the meantime, if you’re interested in driving more ticket sales, increasing your website traffic or are in need of a creative hand with your marketing, then get in touch at Hello@21six.com. We’d love to hear from you!
